1) Registration

With a referral letter from the doctor, you can make an appointment with the speech therapist. You can contact us by telephone, make the first appointment with us, and download the registration form and take it with you.

OR

You can also fill in the registration form (without the referral letter) here, and you will receive a time for the first appointment on the next possible date.

2) Intake

An appointment for an intake interview will be established upon registration. You should bring the following documents to the intake interview:

  • Referral letter (no more than three months old)
  • You or your child’s health insurance card: Valid ID

After the intake interview, an appointment will be made for an examination (diagnostics).
If you want to have your intake interview and the examination at the same time, please let us know to plan more time for you.

3) Examination (diagnostics)

After making a diagnosis based on assessment, it will be clear whether speech treatment is necessary. At either the first or second appointment, the treatment agreement is also discussed.

A report and a treatment plan will be made of the research results and discussed with you. This report is then sent to the referrer and, in consultation, to other stakeholders.

4) Therapy

During the treatments, you will be given exercises and advice to take home. Applying this consistently at home will help you get the desired outcome. After a certain (agreed) period, an evaluation study will take place and the treatment goals will be adjusted if necessary.

A final report is created once the treatment is finished. To prevent a relapse, a check-up appointment is regularly made. Your treated speech therapist will make an appointment with you for this.

Duration of the therapy

The duration of therapy is decided individually by the therapist and adapted to the therapy child. The frequency of treatment depends on the severity of the speech problem.

Session cancelation

Appointments must be canceled 24 hours in advance. Appointments that are late or not canceled will be charged to you. If you have canceled the treatment less than 24 hours in advance, 100% of the rate of the intended treatment will be charged.

This also applies in the case of illness. If you do not come to the appointment without notice, 100% of the rate of the intended treatment will be charged.
